
Preliminary Working Draft Strategic Plan
This artifact is a strategic planning project created in PBHL-H401: Strategic Planning in Health Organizations. It focuses on developing a preliminary strategic plan for Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis. The project includes an environmental assessment, service area analysis, competitive analysis, internal analysis, and a SWOT analysis. It demonstrates how strategic planning tools and data can be used to evaluate a healthcare organization and guide future decision-making.

What I learned
I chose this assignment because it represents one of the most in-depth and challenging projects I have completed. It required a significant amount of research, data analysis, and critical thinking to fully assess a healthcare organization and its environment.
I am proud of this project because it brings together multiple components into one cohesive strategic plan. It shows my ability to apply classroom concepts to a real-world healthcare organization and think strategically about complex issues in the healthcare industry. This artifact also highlights skills such as data interpretation, problem-solving, and professional communication, which will be valuable in my future career.
