About Me
As a Senior at Indiana University Indianapolis studying Health Services Management, I’m passionate about the people and operational side of healthcare organizations. In my current role as a Human Resources Intern at Suburban Home Health, I’ve gained hands-on experience supporting HR operations, employee engagement, and organizational processes within a healthcare setting.
I’m committed to continuous learning and am actively pursuing workshops and coursework to strengthen my knowledge in healthcare finance, quality improvement, leadership, and human capital management. With a strong interest in workforce development and healthcare administration, I’m motivated to contribute meaningfully to organizations that prioritize both patient care and their employees.
Why Health Services Management?
I chose Health Services Management because I knew I wanted to work in healthcare, but I did not intend to pursue a role in direct patient care. Instead, I was drawn to supporting the people and systems that enable the delivery of high-quality patient care. Health Services Management allows me to contribute behind the scenes by focusing on organizational operations, workforce support, and overall efficiency within healthcare settings.
